Last Saturday was our Pink Sports Day at Mulgrave… a massive congratulations to all on the brilliant High Tea held in the Sports Club.

A sold-out group of over 80 women gathered for the event and enjoyed a fantastic afternoon (and evening for many) while raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia.

It was amazing to see so many different generations of the MFC family together for such a wonderful cause - from women who first came to the club nearly 50 years ago to those who joined us this year.

A special thanks to…

• Our hard-working committee members Julie Richards, Gail Hewitt and Rachael Barlow on organising the function… they already spend countless hours on club business, and went above and beyond that with the significant job of organising this function. Priceless!
• Everybody who helped with setup on Friday and Saturday
• Lisa Gadd and Carole Davidson for taking the stage
• Huey’s Bakehouse for catering
• The Mully Grubs coterie for supplying champagne
• All of the generous sponsors who donated door and raffle prizes
• Our players for buying and wearing the pink socks in support of the cause
• Everybody who bought a BCNA pink beanie… we doubled our order on last year and once again sold out very quickly

… and of course, everybody who attended!
