New pavilion: First look

By Mulgrave FC | Wednesday, March 17th 2021

Planning continues for our extended and renovated clubrooms at Mulgrave Reserve, with work due to start in June 2021 and a planned completion of April 2022, in time for the new football season.

It’s exciting to be able to share the current schematic plan of the new facility. While the plans are not yet final, they give a good indication of what the finished project will look like.

Features include:

  • Retention of the existing social room and bar (with main entrance to be relocated to the eastern side)

  • Direct corridor access from the western and southern sides of the building to the social room

  • New male, female and accessible amenities for the social room

  • Retention of the current changerooms (total 89sq metres) for use by away teams, with convertible partitioning for dividing to two separate changerooms

  • Relocation of the existing east-west cricket nets

  • Construction of a second building to the south of the existing pavilion, containing home changeroom (total 100 sq metres), with convertible partitioning for dividing to two separate changeroom. The new building will also include home player amenities, two umpires rooms, first aid room and a new timekeepers box.

  • Covered breezeway between the existing and new buildings

  • Terraced seating between the raised forecourt and playing oval

  • Outdoor decking area at the south-east corner of the new structure

We'll continue to deliver updates on the new pavilion as they're available.
